I
am so proud of our students! They are
doing an amazing job! They are embracing
the learning of a new language. Since we
began Calendar at the beginning of the second quarter, we have worked on the
days of the week and the seasons. We
will continue our studies through the week of Thanksgiving with the months of
the year, holidays, and weather. We will
also continue working on numbers as well!
The Remainder of
December
I
cannot believe we are almost at the end of the Second Quarter!! As always, I am proud of the learning going
on in class! For the remainder of the
month, we will be playing games in order for me to assess the students. We will also begin a new project starting
today. Each class will be publishing a
book using some of what we have learned this year so far. The older grades will be doing books about themselves
and the younger grades will either be doing favorite season, month, or color.
I
wish all of you a Happy Holiday season!!
From January 5, 2012
until January 20, 2012
Happy
New Year and Welcome back!! As we begin
the Third Quarter the students will finish their contributions for their
classroom book in written and picture form.
You will be receiving paperwork in order to take the opportunity to
order a copy of your child’s classroom book.
I am so proud of their work so far!
They are learning new vocabulary, reviewing previously learned
vocabulary and they are writing in a foreign language!
Have
a GREAT month!
